ISO 9002 certification is an important part of the Quality Systems effort at Transilwrap Company, Inc. The Manufacturing Division of Transilwrap has been ISO certified since November, 1994. Our commitment to translating this commitment to the ISO Quality Systems throughout the corporation is real and this effort will be ongoing for the next decade. The certifications are not taken lightly. Employee involvement, rigorous internal auditing, and on-going assessments by our registering firm (BSI, Inc.) assure continuing high performance from our quality systems.

The quality message does not stop here, however, as we are continuing to stress continuous improvement within all of our operations, including the design and customer service areas as well. A focal point for these key business processes involves the reiterative concept of "Plan-Do-Check-Act." This process, regardless of application, encourages a mind-set of continuous improvement. Once the cycle is completed, it just begins again. Our recently formed Quality Teams in the Manufacturing Division are using this approach to capture both quality and productivity in the Sheet and Extrusion Coating operations areas. The Quality Teams are also leading a variety of change initiatives aimed at improving our production process by tracking and evaluating key aspects of production and customer satisfaction processes.

The values implied by our Quality Statement is indicative of our guiding principles:

  • to meet or exceed that quality of competitive products.

  • to continually improve the consistency of our products.

  • to maintain an active Quality System that fully complies with ISO 9001:2000 requirements.

  • to drive product improvements via operations excellence and technical innovation.

A key element of our Quality System includes the traceability of all materials at all stages of the operation from incoming raw materials to outgoing finished products. Documentation of all materials and processes at each step assures conformance to strict requirements of product appearance, performance and packaging. Quality is the responsibility of all our employees and each employee is committed to providing our valued customers the best possible products and services available.
